Overall Rating:

The voice actors were very talented but the only characters who sounded like their English counterparts were Alice and the Queen of Hearts. The songs were well sung and well translated, but I did come across some things that were unnecessarily added. No matter how much I enjoyed the White Rabbit yelling, "Yahoooiiii!!" when he jumped down the rabbit hole, the fact of the matter is, he isn't supposed to yell anything at all. Also, when the White Rabbit thought giant Alice had bitten off his hand, he is supposed to just yell, "AHHH!!" which is one syllable. In the Japanese dub, he yells, "Tasukete!!" which means, "Help Me!!" and has 3 syllables. Even though that is probably exactly what the White Rabbit was thinking at the time, it looked silly when he didn't mouth those words, and it was unnecessarily added. There were times when it looked like a badly dubbed martial arts movie. All of those unnecessary interpretations do not take away from or change the plot or feel of the movie, and wouldn't bother anyone who is not an editing nazi like me :D. Any Disney or Alice fan would get a kick out of this edition, whether they speak Japanese or not.
