I've watched this in pure Japanese dub and in the bilingual edition. I thought it was very nicely done. The voice actors were very talented, although the only characters who were similar to their English counterparts were Princess Aurora and Prince Philip. The three fairies all had wonderful voices, but different, and Maleficent sounded like a withering, old witch, rather than a beautiful, evil fairy. The songs were so well sung, that I think I like the Japanese versions over the English ones(though I like the English ones very much as well). Be sure to download clips of them and you'll see what I mean. I came across no problems or inconsistencies that annoyed me, and everything seemed to be translated as accurately as possible. Even the old-fashioned opening and ending themes dubbed in Japanese kept with the classic, fairy tale feeling of the movie.
