They went over their plans with the aid of a flashlight, and in whispered tones.
Commander Khashoggi hadn't learned anything from his last attempt to enlist the help of a caboose to take over the world.
Well, that wasn't entirely true. He had learned that he needed to be sneaky about it, and make sure that
She didn't find out about it.
Last time, she had made it perfectly clear that she didn't approve of plans to take over the world - particularly when his plan involved taking over her bedroom.
He figured that She was far enough away that it would be safe - and besides, he didn't plan to take over her room this time.
And this caboose had proved to be more interested in helping him with his plan.
"It's because Diana isn't around," he explained, "I haven't seen her for several months."
"Me too," Khashoggi agreed.
They leaned over the paper again, discussing the next best plan of attack.

Suddenly the lights went on, and they both looked up quickly, banging their heads together. The plans were quickly stuffed into Khashoggi's coat pocket.
"What are you two up to?"
"Nothing," they both answered quickly.
The caboose gave his best angelic blue eyes.
"Hmm..."
Both Commander and Caboose waited.
"Alright."

"It’s the blue eyes," the caboose said after they were alone again, "They always work."
"That’s a useful talent to have," the Commander agreed, "Sunglasses just don’t seem to have the same effect..."

The next day they were putting the finishing touches on their plan, complete with little diagrams of what they would do after their conquest when they were interrupted.
Khashoggi tried to hide the plans again, but it was too late.
"Not again!"
"Well... we... uh..."
"That is... I... we..."
"I can’t believe you two are trying it again!"
"Hey..." Caboose said, "In my defense, I’m a different caboose..."
"But you still went along with it."

"Are you going to stick me in a box again?" the Commander asked in a resigned tone.
"Well..." she considered, "Then I wouldn’t get to see you..." She thought about it for a moment, and then her eyes got a strange expression - an expression that the caboose and commander were rather familiar with.
Neither of them liked it.

They found themselves seated back to back, their ankles tied to the legs of the chair and their arms tied together.
The caboose squirmed a bit until Khashoggi told him to stop.
"You’re pulling on my arms," the Commander said.
The Caboose growled softly, "If it weren’t for you we wouldn’t be in this mess!"
"Oh shut up," Khashoggi retorted, "You went along with it, didn’t you?"
"I’m easily influenced!" he answered.
"This isn’t fair," Khashoggi grumbled, struggling even though he had told the caboose not to.
The caboose sighed and leaned back in his chair, "Well at least it isn’t the box..."
"How is this better then the box?" Khashoggi demanded.
"Least we can see what’s goin’ on..."

The Commander growled and stomped his feet on the floor, "I demand to be let go!"
"That isn’t gonna help..." CB said quietly.
"I demand to be untied right now!" Khashoggi yelled.
"That’s only gonna make things worse..."
"RIGHT NOW!"

"What do you want?" she asked, coming over.
"Nuthin’," CB answered quietly.
"I demand that you untie me right now!" Khashoggi demanded.
"Right now?" she asked.
"RIGHT NOW!!"

She shook her head and walked away.
"Hey!" Khashoggi called after her, "Come back here!"
"Oh I’m coming back..." she said.
CB shut his eyes, "Uh oh..."
"What?" Khashoggi demanded, turning his head in an attempt to look at the caboose.
CB didn’t answer right away.
"What?" Khashoggi repeated.
"You’re in trouble."

She returned carrying a white piece of material with red hearts on it. The commander eyed her suspiciously.
"I’m not going to untie you," she said, "But since I can’t have you telling all the time either..."
Behind Khashoggi, the Caboose smirked slightly at that, and held his tongue.

His eyes widened behind his shades when he realized what she was going to do.
"No!" he protested, "You can’t!"
"She can..." CB murmured.

The commander shut his eyes as the material was tied around his mouth as a gag. To add insult to injury, he knew that it had pink hearts all over it.
"There," she said, "Now we’ll have a little quiet." She walked off.

"I told you so," the Caboose said.
"Mmfpmmf!!" the Commander responded.
CB sighed, "Ya can say that again..."
