Blade has not been to the Jellicle Ball, because his father, Scar, has not permitted him to go. Blade respects his dying father, even though
he does not always agree with him. Blade's mother left him and his father shortly after the last litter of kits was born; his mother took all of the kittens
leaving him behind because he was the oldest (he is not sure why his mother did that). He studied very hard on magic until he wasn't interested in it and
just wanted to settle down with a queen (but not one like his mother) and live happily ever after *Grin*
