Thanatos spent his youth pondering over books of magic and lore, hoping that one day he might learn how to perform miracles and
discover ultimate power. He read everything he could find on the subject for his first three years, but eventually became reckless and used a spell that he
didn't fully understand. He paid for his impatience- the spell backfired and made a vampire of him, awakening a predatory bloodlust and bestial quality in
him that nearly took over. He has since come to grips with his situation, and now studies with calm resolve to find a magical cure for his condition. He has
never attended a Jellicle Ball, but hopes fervently to do so. His wish is to meet the legendary Mistoffelees, who he believes may be able to help
him. The change also left him without the ability to purr, which makes him unsettling at times.
