GODSPELL, OFF BROADWAY:
BARRETT FOA (Jesus) originated the role of Jesus in the 2000 Off-Broadway revival of Godspell at Third Eye
Rep, and is thrilled and grateful to make the transfer to the York. NY: Recently seen as Jack in Fetching Water at the
Music Writer’s Playground at the Minetta Lane, directed by Jeff Calhoun. Regional: Pittsburgh CLO, Music Theatre
of Wichita, Maine State Music Theatre. Favorite roles include Billy Crocker in Anything Goes, Abel/Ham in
Children of Eden, Rolf in The Sound of Music, Matt in The Fantasticks. Originally from New York City, Barrett is a
recent graduate of University of Michigan’s musical theatre program. Barrett made his Broadway “debut” this
spring in the West Side Story GAP ad campaign that ran on billboards, sides of buses, and in magazines all over the
