Can't buy a collar? Here's an easy and inexpensive way to get a cool collar!
The Materials:
Ribbon
Hook and eye or snaps
Siccors
Rinestones, glitter and/or studs
Studder(if you're useing studs)
Fabric Paint
Thread and needle
Glue
Directions
Get the ribbon you want to use for your collar. Put it around your neck and you should be able to fit at least two fingers in the ribbon. Cut the ribbon and have someone help you do this!
Sew the ends(but not together). This will keep the ribbon from fraying. Sew the ends several times.
Next, sew the hook and eye(or snaps) on the ends of the ribbon. Also, sew this several times, so it will not fall off. You should not be able to pull the hook and eye (or snaps) off.
If you are going to use fabric paint and glitter, put them on now. Let them sit for 10-15 minutes, or until the glue/fabric paint hardens.
After the fabric paint and glitter dries, you can now put on the rhinestones and/or studs on.Let dry for 10-15 minutes(if you're dealing with rhinestones).
La Voila!!
