The Four Brothers Part 1

Growltiger, is a sailing cat that travels to many places around the world. He hadn't been sailing in a while because he had just settled into a new home with his newly found mate, Andromeda. Andromeda doesn't really like sailing, but has grown to go with him on his many trips from time to time. Two years later, Andromeda and Growltiger had just announced to the rest of the tribe that they had an addition to the family. Growltiger went to get the new kit for everyone to see. His fur was solid black, his eyes were of an ice blue color that could turn red when he was mad, and his mane was of a caramel color, so they named him Firefrorefiddle. Two years after that, they introduced another kit. He was white with black and orange stripes, like his mother. His mane was sandy brown like his fathers, he even had his father’s jade green eyes. Thus he had been named Macavity.

Many years later after they had returned from a trip, Fire, as he was called, was about twelve years old at the time, and Mac was ten, they added two more kits to the family. Growltiger was pleased to know that he now had four sons to care for. The two newest ones were twins. One was white with black stripes, his mane was brown, and he had emerald green eyes, they had given him the name Admetus, being that he was the bigger one of the two. The other one was small, but still could let them know that he was there. His fur was white with black and brown patches, his mane was red with a black patch on the left side of his head just behind the ear, inside the patch was a white spot that was noticeable. His eyes were somewhat of a blue-grey mix. So they thought of a perfect name for him, Plato. When Fire was fourteen, Mac was twelve, and the twins were two, Growltiger and Andromeda left their four sons under the care of Old Deuteronomy while they went on their last and final trip. It was annual Jellicle Ball and they were chosen to go to the Heaviside Layer. Since the twins were too young to understand what the ball was about, they stayed in the Kittens Chamber with Jellylorum as Fire and Mac attended the ball.

Ten years after Growltiger and Andromeda's trip to the Heavyside, the twins were getting bigger and learning about the annual ball that is to come. Fire was away from the Junkyard most of the time as well as Mac. The twins were old enough not to depend on their brothers for food, and they were becoming good hunters at that. Whenever Fire and Mac were at the Junkyard, Plato always hid behind Admetus, just so the others couldn't see how frightened he was of them. Plato remembers that while he was growing up, Fire and Mac used to tease him for being small, Mac teased him the most, and Admetus was very protective during that time. One night at the Junkyard, Fire and Mac went a little too far for Admetus taste as they bullied Plato far too long that night, that he cried and could not sleep at all fearing of what they might do to Plato next. The next day, Old Deuteronomy saw the fear Admetus had against His brothers and immediately took action. Fire and Mac were told to leave the Junkyard and to never return until they realized that what they did to Plato was wrong.
