Please, Love Me
By : Plato

Macavity sat in his bedroom at his lair, wondering about what today would bring. Although he had just turned two years old, he was well dignified and respected by his henchcats. That is, except by one. She is around the same age as Macavity, but treats him like a kitten. Her name is Destiny. Macavity shivers everytime Destiny is near him. Which begins this story....

When Macavity was eight months old, his family left him cold and hungry in a warehouse with the other cats that lived there. Macavity was adopted into the highest-ranking cat family there and was very well cared for because he was to be the heir to the throne. He had numerous playmates to play with, but one would always send him home crying most of the time. Destiny is what you would call a black sheep. Whenever Macavity and Destiny were around each other, she would boss him around as if she was to be a queen. Macavity finally realized that Destiny didn't like him and the torturing worsened as they got older. Sometimes, Macavity and Destiny would be alone at the warehouse, alone while the other kittens went with their families to hunt, and she would be pounding on him until they came home. Night after night, this would happen. Destiny would always deny the bruises and scratches whenever asked about them. She just happened to be the only female there and took her anger about it out on Macavity. Months went by and Macavity to over the family job, needless to say, Destiny controlled his every move. When Macavity turned a year old, she gave him a birthday present he would never forget, and bore the scars for weeks after.

A year had passed and Macavity was now the Napoleon of Crime. Destiny was still herself and never let Macavity forget. Eventually, they had to share a room, which made it even worse. By day, Macavity controlled operations that took place and by night, would be controlled by the one cat whom he found to be a beautiful queen. She would never pay attention to Macavity. One night, when they were in their room, he was being tortured too much, so finally he showed her the pain and suffering she had inflicted on him. "Destiny, why do you do all these horrible things to me?" he asked her. "I did not tell you that you could speak to me!" she screamed and slashed his arm with her paw. Macavity got up and left the room, he didn't want to be around her, not tonight. He found an empty room and made it his own so that he could escape from her.

As Destiny sat alone in the room that night, she began to think about what Macavity had asked her. She began to cry when she realized how much she had hurt him, so she went to do the only logical thing she could think of, apologize to Macavity. She opened the door and started searching for any signs that would lead her to where he was. She looked down and noticed a drop of blood from Macavity’s deep cut she had given him. She followed the trail all the way to the other side of the warehouse. Destiny finally arrived at the room Macavity was in and knocked. He didnt answer. She opened the door and peeked inside to find Macavity lying on a bed he had made, asleep. Destiny quietly snuck in and carefully closed the door. Two candles were lit, so it made it easier to see around the room. She set both candles by the bed and then sat down, examining Macavitys cuts she had caused. She noticed the freshest one she gave him just minutes before and started cleaning it tenderly.

"Who what? Destiny!" Macavity woke with a start. "I'm sorry if I beat you up like this Macavity, but I came to apologize." Macavity pulled away from her thinking he was going to get another beating. "Go away" he scoffed. "No, I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to say I'm sorry" she told him, "I realize now about how much I love you." Macavity looked at her and said, "I also love you. I have loved you for a long time, but was afraid to show it." By then, tears were streaming down his face. "Destiny, please, love me tonight. Show me that you truly care and make the pain go away." Destiny could feel Macavity's pleading cries inside as she let Macavity lay across her back. "Macavity, I will love you forever" she whispered. A few months had passed and Destiny had changed. Macavity used to hide from her, but now doesn't want to be away from her. They became mates and loved every moment they got to spend together, alone.

It was Macavity's third birthday, and Destiny gave him the best present he had ever received. A son, an heir to the throne, born on his birthday. He held his son and looked at Destiny. Then he looked at his son and said, "Welcome to your future kingdom, Plato."
