it all started ....ahh
i don't remember when.
when i realized my feelings
for you, was for more
than just a friend.

when our caressing lips
would gently blend.
when i could say
you truly love me and not glen.

when i knew i didn't have to pretend.
when you said, your feeling for me,
was for more than just a common friend.

when you took me in your precious arms,
and cared for me, the way adam cared for eve
in the garden of eden.
when you took me from level one
all the way to ten.
when you made me blind to see the beauty in karen.

with you i thought love would never end.
but now! i know i was mistaken.
now i know i have been deceived again,
by a special person,
i knew more than just a friend.

it ended ....ahh
i don't remember when!
now i'm back to just a friend,
with a broken heart,
only you can mend.

my heart is burning like a hot oven.
my most precious treasure has been stolen.
i thought you were different from them,
but you are just like angie, simone, and gwen.

but you are forgiven,
forgiven for the pain you brought me,
FRIEND!
