The Lanett High School "Golden Panther Marching Band" recieved superior ratings in all categories, including: Drum Major, Majorettes, Colorguard, Percussion and Band at the Lake Martin Invitational. The band was also awarded, "Best in Class" for Drum Major,Majorettes and Colorguard.

At the Hoover Invitational, the band also recieved superior rating in Drum Major, Majorettes, Colorguard, and Precussion, with the Band reciving ratings of Excellent. The band was awarded Best in Class Drum Major and Best in Class Majorette.
