Liza's first play was a production of The Diary of Anne Frank at the Scarsdale High School, West 46th St in Manhattan. 15 year old Liza was chosen to play the title role of Anne. The kids in the show just thought of Liza as nothing more than Judy Garland's daughter, but Liza held her own. Liza's performance was a hit. During the summer of 1962 Liza and the entire cast were asked to tour to Israel with the show, and the kids soon took a liking to Liza!
