Peter Bishop - Standby for Bustopher Jones, Asparagus and Old Deuteronomy
TRAINING - Peter in a native Australian and trained at Ensemble Theatre, Sydney and the National Theatre ballet in Melbourne before joining the Australina Opera company and the Sydney dance company.
THEATRE - In Australia includes La Trviata, Aida, Adriana Lecouvreur, Trial by Jury and The Merry widdow as well as leading roles in Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, evita and Camelot. Theatre in Britain includes Alan in A Step In Time opposite Bonnie Langford, Jesus in Godspell, and many west end productions including Frank in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Slavemaster and cover Raoul in the original cast of The Phantom of the Opera, Asher, and cover Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (London Palladium), and also cover Bobby in Crazy for You (Prince Edward Theatre). More recently, Jesus Christ Superstar (Lyceum) and Saturday Night Fever (London Palladium).
TELEVISION - Includes Families (Carlton), several episodes of Cobblers (BBC), and The Sullivans and Bishop to Knight (Australian Television).
OTHER - He also spent some time in Sweden where he recently played the narrator in a major production of A Christmas Carol in Stockholm. Peter Previously appeared as Munkustrap in Cats here at the New London and in the first national tour.
