...cats, new london theatre, april 2001

OK So this isn't really about the show, but more about our stage door antics...!

Before the show, we phoned up to David Ashley from the stage door, but unfortunately, he was busy and couldn't come down, but he agreed to get photos with both After the show ??? and I went around to the stage door as usual.

David Ashley was first out, looking very good, which was pretty amazing seeing as he had just done two shows! He was really nice to all of us and made us feel comfortable. We introduced him to our friend Holly, and she was happy to have met him (since ??? and I talk about him so much)! He was slightly rushed because he had to catch a train but he still spent time asking us about the show and if we enjoyed it (DUH)!

Next, we saw Stori James (Yey yey yey!!!) with Sam Hall. Stori was on as Bill Bailey, as Nick Crossley's replacement until the next cast change, and Sam was on as Mungojerrie. I hadn't met either of them before and I was so happy to have met Stori especially cos he's the BEST KITTEN EVER and also my joint favourite person in the show (along with David). We got autographs and photos with both of them together. Sam was really shy, he thought we only wanted to see Stori cos we didn't really speak to him when he first came out, but that was because we didn't recognise him until Stori introduced us!

We missed Seb Rose AGAIN cos of Stori, he was being v.talkative, and we were prevented from getting Seb for autographs and stuff cos we were busy chatting away! ,p> Those were the only people we properly talked to, but we saw loads of others, including Clinton Brown (on as Admetus I think), Ross Finnie (Skimble, ??? and I never fail to see him before and after every show, but we've never spoken to him), Campbell McKenzie (Misto, he was running past in his little biker jacket!), Rebecca Louis (on as Electra) and Barbara King (on as Grizabella instead of Chrissie Hammond). I'm sure we saw other people too, but it was too quick to really catch who they were!
