Being a hanson fan, I've heard some wild things. I've READ some even WILDER things, and even seen somethings that there is no measure of wildness to describe it, but the things that that I find most upseting are the ones that have to do with the boys' personal lives. Recently I have come to notice that there is more talk about if and who they are dating than there is about the new album (that, I might add is really pissing me off seeing as they announced the soonest release date will be sometime in 2002! I'm sorry, music is life and having such a lack of variety, is grating on the nerves.) Anyway, I know, that everyone of us hopes that we have whatever "it" is that they are looking for and that one day they'll see us in an arena, or in a crowded room and everything else will fade into the backround, that we will be the only thing they see because we are perfect for them and we're ment to be together. That, my dears, is called a fantasy. A far away, far fetched, wonderful dream that can't possibly happen.
Not to say, that I am not hoping and praying the same thing, but I think, if worse came to worse, I would want to be one of their friends. That'd be fun.
But all of these rumors. We aren't a bunch of over-excited, skreeching maniacs(forgetting those few concert moments that had to be taken advantage of.)
We're fans. We are writers, artists, musicians, wives, daughters, college students, women, girls, humans. We, are their cheering section. So the next time you think about saying that you hate someone that they're dating, or starting a rumor about them, ask yourself if they really deserve this. Ask if the girls that they're dating deserve this. Ask yourself who you are as a human....and who you are as a fan.
Just breathe,
