Thinking of being part of the magic of theatre? We recognize that it takes an assortment of talents and a lot of commitment to stage a theatre production. We would be greatful to have your participation. Merrymeeting Community Players is dedicated to a long term presence in our community. We have recently initiated a MCP Home Fund, committing 20percent of our income towards the goal of a arts centre. We also initiated a post secondary education scholarship fund, committing 10 percent of our income to this fund. Presently we are exacuting a four show season, which includes, a fall show, this year, Highlights of the 50's & 60's, a spring Broadway show, Into the Woods, a summer teen show, Gilbert & Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance, and a children’s production later in the summer. Merrymeeting Community Players would like to extend an invatation for membership to you. As a member you would be sure to recieve notifcation of all Merrymeeting Community Players’ auditions, events, and meetings. You will also recieve minutes from each meeting of the players, be able to vote, to help select our season slate, and our officers. And also to assure our presence and a positive community asset. Merrymeeting Community Players has modest ten dollar annual dues. Your dues can be waived upon request, for members of limited income.
