On December 31, 1999, the Lebowsky Center hosted a black tie dinner party. A platform was erected over the seats which connected to the stage. A bar was installed in the lobby. Pictures were taken in the mezzanine of couples. Valet parking greeted guests at the door. Coats were checked, and special millennium gifts presented. The happy couples danced to the sounds of the Owosso Swing Band and watched intermittent entertainment from OCP elite.

At midnight fireworks flashed, slides of the past were projected, and Auld Lange Syne was sung. Two meals were served and the champagne flowed freely all through the night. This truly was The Party of the Millennium as it had been billed.
