Alonzo is one of the younger toms in the musical. He has a distinctive black tear drop shaped patch on the left side of his mouth. He helps fight Macavity and saves Demeter, in many productions it is Alonzo who Demeter is seen with after Macavity was beaten, not Munkustrap.
Alonzo features quite a bit in the Jellicle Ball, though he only sings a few solo lines in the whole musical. Often the actor who plays Alonzo also plays Rumpus Cat.
