Bombalurina is a very sexy adult queen, and the major female flirt of the tribe. She spends a large percentage of her time with Demeter, well at least when she’s not off flirting with the toms. Jellylorum, accompanies her and Demeter in the singing off the chorus in Jennyanydots number, “The Old Gumbie Cat.” Bomb also sings a line in Rum Tum Tugger’s song, the male version of her. They also dance together for part of the song.
Bomb also has a major part in Bustopher Jones and is clearly upset when Bustopher gives Jennyanydots his flower instead of her. Bombalurina’s main song is Macavity, where both Bomb and Demeter sing about the local bad guy. It is a common thought that Bombalurina has had a relationship with Macavity and that’s how she came upon the knowledge she has of him.
There are also a couple of viewpoints on her relationship with Demeter, some say they are sisters and some say they are best friends. Bomb is protective of Demeter whenever there is a Macavity scare and also keeps her away from Grizabella.
