Cassandra
Cassandra is the sleek, quiet, mysterious cat that can usually be found hanging around the more shadowed, set back areas of the junkyard. Many people mistake her for a Siamese, but she's really a Sphynx. There is such a breed, and if you know their qualities, you'll agree that she is one. Her simple costume of usually dark brown and white/cream helps her to hide herself when trouble arrives. Cassandra is paired up with the Rum Tum Tugger in the CATS video,(keep an eye on them at the Skimbleshanks song, what RTT does when she's chosen as Mr. Mistoffelees assistant, and when Grizabella is accepted - you'll be surprised!)on Broadway she's with Mr. Mistoffelees, and in London she's usually with Alonzo. When she helps to bring back Old Deuteronomy, it's obvious that she has some magical powers in her. She has an air about her that says she knows more than she'll tell, making her personality even more complex. In a way she is somewhat of a loner, because she doesn't get too close with many of the other cats, yet Cassandra is still an important member of the Jellicle tribe!
