NIGHT MUST FALL
Night Must Fall is a thriller which was first produced in London in 1935, with its author playing the lead - an attractive young Welshman by the name of Dan, who has a taste for smoking, cycling, courting and murder... In a solitary bungalow in the heart of an Essex forest, four women are closeted and getting on each others' nerves; the crotchety Aunt Bramson, her niece, Olivia (about whom "there is nothing remarkable at the moment"), the pregnant maid, Dora, and the sarcastic cook, Mrs. Terence. They lead a tedious and repetitive life - that is, until Dan comes to stay...
Night Must Fall was performed on Thursday 14th, Friday 15th & Saturday 16th March 2002 at the Skipton Little Theatre 7.30pm and directed by Emma Bowskill.
