Okay, the first time I saw 1776 was when I was about eight years ago, during fifth grade. The teacher was showing it as part of our US history lesson. I didn't get all the jokes, but I enjoyed it anyway. I told my family about it, then forgot about it. The next time was three years later, during my US history class. I got all the jokes this time and I convinced my parents to buy a copy of the video.
