Narrator - Michael Pochatko
The Sound of Music, is the story based on the experiences of the singing Von Trapp family of Austria. Maria leaves an Austrian convent to become a governess to a Naval officer widower to care for his children. She gradually captures the heart of the stern Captain and they marry. Upon returning from their honeymoon they discover that Austria has been invaded by the Nazis. During our production of A BROADWAY REVUE we did several scenes from this show and Brian Walton played the part of a German lieutenant. We thought by the end of the show he was going to have the entire audience in a Nazi camp.
