Here you'll find descriptions and pictures of some of the most important jellicles
He is probably the third leader of the Jellicle tribe. He takes care of the kittens, and is a good friend of Munkustrap. He helps him when Macavity tries to kidnap Demeter. And he's the one that continues the fight when Munkustrap is hurt.
She is Demeter's best friend. She is in love with Rum Tum Tugger, and probbably has something to do with Macavity. She also uses to hang around with Jennyanydots and Jellylorum.
He's a very rich and fat cat. He's the cat about town. Bustopher seems to like Jennyanydots, who sings a song about him with Bombalurina and Jellylorum. Although the whole tribe likes his visits, he doesn't enjoy very much when Mr. Mistoffelees plays with his tail.
She's really a misterious cat.She likes dancing very much,a nd enjoys tha Jellicle ball really much! There isn's much known about her but there's people that think that she may be egypcian.
Coricopat and Tantomile's are twins, and thei're always together. they look exactly the same. They're quite misterious, as Cassandra. They can sense when Old Deuteronomy is near. They enjoy dancing a lot!
She's Bombalurina's best friend, and sings with her "Macavity, the mistery cat". In my opinion, she had some kind of relationship with him. But, luckily, she seems to fall in love with Munkustrap after the fight. She senses when Grizabella is around.
She used to be a Glamour cat. But, somehow, she went away from trhe Jellicle tribe, probably to live with humans. But when she was back, nobody liked her. Some of the kittens seem to want her to go the Heavyside Layer. But the whole tribe dislikes her until they understand her feelings. She is the lucky cat that goes to the Heavyside Leyer.
In the days of his youth, he used to be an actor. He shows us one of his stories: Growltigger's Last Stand, and sings the story of his life with Jellylorum. His most precious memory is Firefroffidle, the fiend of the fell.
The kittens seem to love her as their mother. She's a good friend of Jennyanydots and Bombalurina. She uses to take care of Gus, because he's very old. She doesn't like Grizabella very much, and tries to keep the kittens away from her.
She's one of the Jellicle kittens. She would like Grizabella to be back in the tribe. She sings "memories" with her. Jemima admires the Rum Tum Tugger very much, and she also loves Old Deuteronomy very much, as if he was his grandfather.
The gumbie cat. She's quite old, but that doesn't mean that she can be a very busy cat. She's always trying to make the mouses play the violin or the violoncello. Or making... a beetle army! She's friends with Munkustrap, Jellylorum and Bombalurina.
He is a criminal, a mistery cat. "He's called 'the hidden paw'..." Demeter says. He probably used to date Demeter, but she doesn't love him anymore. He kidnapes Old Deuteronomy, and tries to kidnap Demeter, but the rest of the Jellicles fight together against him, and he dissapears.
He's a magical cat. He makes Old Deuteronomy appear from nowhere when Macavity kidnaps him, so everyone in the tribe is very pleased to have him. He likes playing with Bustopher Jones' tail, but what he really seems to enjoy is the Jellicle Ball. He really loves dancing. His best friend is probably Victoria.
They're partners, and they're always making something that will make everyone angry, like breaking a very expensive vase, or stealing something. There is people that think that they used to work for Macavity, but they're allowed to be part of the tribe.
He's in charge if Old Deuteronomy isn't there. He wants Jennyanydots to go to the Heavyside Layer, because he's good friends with her. We can call him the story-teller, because he explains the Jellicle "ritual" to us, so that we can understand what's going on.
He's the Jellicle leader, and he takes care of the rest of the tribe. He's lives lots of lives, and he's the oldest in the group. Everyone admires him, he knows a lot about life and he can feel what Grizabella feels. That's why he chooses her to go to the Heavyside Layer.
He's a rebel cat, which doesn't mean that he is a bad guy. He likes Bombalurina, but he tries to pretend he doesn't. Everyone of the kittens admire him a lot. He's really funny, and he's the one that suggests Mr. Mistoffelees to make Old Deuteronomy appear. He's a very good friend of Munkustrap, Mr. Mistoffelees and Old Deuteronomy. He doesn't like Grizabella at all.
He's one of the Jellicle heroe's. He made history when he stoppes an awful fight between the Pekes and the Pollicle dogs. He's very admired by everyone.
He's a cat who works in a train. Everyone likes to hear stories about his trips. He's really needed in the train where he works. There's no trip if Skimbleshanks isn't there. Skimble is probably some kitten's father, maybe Jemima's.
She's the only all-white cat in the tribe. She likes dancing a lot, and during the Jellicle Ball, she dances something that probably is a symbol of the end of her childhood. She's good friends with Ms. Mistoffelees and Jemima. She loves Old Deuteronomy very much, as if he was her garndpa.
