Wilson - for Pee Wee and Junior Theatre. The junior play to be selected this weekend. 2001 will mark the fifteenth anniversary of Windsor Youth Theatre Junior Division. The purpose of WYT being, to give the kids of Windsor "something to do". Over the years, WYT has contributed a lot more than "something to do" for the children of Windsor. It has granted them with an opportunity to express themselves, and granted them the opportunity to feel what it is like to have the spotlight, just like on Broadway. Significantly, over the elapsed fifteen years, Windsor Youth Theatre has granted the youth of Windsor an opportunity to make new and lifelong friends. WYT has been a key position in the development of the youth of Windsor. WYT has taught the youth of Windsor crucial leadership qualities by training them to work as a team and how to strive for excellence. WYT is currently under the supervision of Fran Elligers. The organization is made up of students between the ages of 8 through 14. It is a wonderful experience for all of us who have a desire to act, to dance, to sing, and most importantly to perform. The performances, at their best can leave the audience nostagically speechless, what the smallest details can trigger is amazing. Most of the players get much more out of the deal than what their parents pay for their children’s admission. The friendships are one-of-a-kind, and the experience to perform in front of a life audience is thrilling and a phenominal experience for all.
