My guidelines are pretty easy. You must run your stories through a spell-checker and I'd prefer they be sent to me as a Word document. There should be a header that includes your name, a rating (i.e. G, PG-13, NC-17 that kind of thing) the 'ship, (if there's more than one say that too) a disclaimer, and an e-mail address for feedback.  If I don't post it, it probably means I didn't like it. If I have time I'll drop you a line and tell you why, otherwise I'll just delete it and move on. I accept fiction of every rating, and as a general guideline if there's a lot of violence it's probably going to be PG-13 or above, likewise if there are graphic descriptions of sex it's probably going to be NC-17.  I'm open to good fiction of all 'ships, and I also accept well-written non 'ship stories . I personally do not write much in the way of slash, but if it's good I'll post it, I WILL NOT post any anti-gay/anti-lesbian fiction, so don't bother sending it to me. I also have a whole huge issue with Mary-Sue fiction. What is a Mary-Sue you ask? It's an original character who out-witches Willow, out-Slays Buffy, out-Watches Giles, plays guitar better than Oz and is in general absolutely perfect. They tend to be unbelievably beautiful, with amazing colored hair, eyes etc. I avoid them like the plague, the same goes for Willow-sue/ Spike-sam fiction.  Those are stories where Spike is suddenly sweeter than Angel, or Willow is better than Buffy and all the others. I'm not a stickler for canon by any stretch of the imagination, that would defeat the whole purpose of fan fiction but I prefer semi-realistic characters, so a Spike that's suddenly opting not to act like a vamp, or a Willow who can fight better than Buffy and is the strongest witch alive is probably not going to make it.  To run your original character through the Mary-Sue litmus test go here.  Remember, just because I refuse one story doesn't mean I'll refuse them all so keep trying.
