"So Angel are you gonna go tell Buffy?" Cordy asked her boss and friend.

"Yeah, I'm going to leave in the morning," Angel answered.

"I'm never gonna get used to you not having to travel at night, you know. Do you want me to come with?"

"Nah, I think I can manage," He replied.

"Ok well you need to finish packing if your leaving 1st thing in the morning," she suggested and with that Angel left Cordy and went into his room and pulled a suitcase out of his closet. He began pulling dark colored clothes out of his closet, holding them up, and placing then in the suitcase.

Cordy walked in, "Are you really gonna wear those?" she asked.

"I was planing on it, yes,"

"But your not a vampire anymore, you need to add some color to your wardrobe. We are so going shopping." Cordy grabbed Angel's hand and they made there way out of the building.

"Cordy I don't think I am ever gonna be able to retire after that shopping spree." Angel said sitting the bags on the floor.

"But when Buffy sees you she is gonna lose it," Cordy teased and Angel laughed.

"Whoa I need to pack this stuff up," Angel said looking up and the clock

"I'll help," Cordy offered

"Okay lets go," Angel and Cordy went into Angels bedroom and began packing the new clothes in the suit case. When they were finished Angel took them out to the car.

"Angel what are you doing?" Cordy asked

"I can't wait I'm leaving now," Angel said hopping into the car.

"Okay call when you get there," Cordy yelled as Angel sped away towards Sunnydale, "What a love struck fool." Cordy said to herself.

Angel passed the WELCOME TO SUNNYDALE sign and all the old memories came rushing back. It brought a smile to his face. He was going to stop by his old apartment 1st but he just couldn't wait to see Buffy so he headed strait for her house. When he got there he stopped the car but couldn't get out. His stomach was doing flip-flops. He could sense her, feel her. He sat there thinking about how he was going to tell her that he was human. He didn't get much time to think when to front door opened and Buffy stepped out. She walked over to the car and looked tapped on the window.

"Angel?" she said when she finally realized who it was

"Buffy, how are you?" he asked getting out

"Good, and you?" she asked back

"Great," he replied

"What are you doing here?" she asked

"I um came to see you,"

"Really um do you wanna come inside for awhile,"

"Sure that would be great," Angel said following Buffy into her house.

"Sit down," Buffy said pointing to seat in the living room, "Would you like something to eat?"

"No thank you," Angel answered

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" Buffy asked taking a seat on the couch next to Angel.

"Well Buffy, I…." Angel started but was interrupted by a child's screams.

"Sweetie what's wrong?" Buffy asked as a little boy ran down the stairs and into Buffy's arms.

"I had a bad dream," he cried.

Angel just stared in disbelief. His Buffy was holding a little boy. Buffy saw Angel's confusion.

"Angel this is Liam, my son," she said turning Liam so Angel could see him.

Angel's breath caught in his throat. Liam had chocolate brown eyes and the hair to match.

"Your son?" Angel asked

"Yeah, sweetie why don't you go back up to bed," she said turning her attention to her 4 year old son.

"Yes mommy," he said and gave his mother a kiss and waved and Angel.

"He's adorable," Angel said as Liam made his way up the stairs.

"Yeah," Buffy said

"Um Buffy who's the father?" Angel asked

"That's were the problem comes in,"

"What?"

"Well the doctors said that he was conceived around Thanksgiving but I wasn't in a relationship around that time."

"Oh," it clicked in Angel's head, the forgotten day, Liam looked just like him, "Liam?"

"Yeah I thought it suited him I mean Angel he looks so much like you,"

"Buffy I need to tell you something,"

"What is it Angel?" Buffy asked worried

"That day when you came down to LA after Thanksgiving, you were there longer than you remember," he confessed

"Angel…..I know,"

"What?" Angel asked

"I know, I mean I remember, when I was giving birth to Liam I kept having these flashbacks, at the time I thought they were dreams, but they weren't they were memories." Buffy confessed

"Th-that means Liam.." Angel stopped

"Is yours, yes you are Liam's father," Buffy finished for him.

"Buffy why didn't you ever tell me?" Angel said a touch of anger in his voice.

Buffy didn't pick up on it. "Well I didn't think you wanted to deal with it, you had you wonderful life in LA and I didn't want to force you…" Buffy said

"Buffy, I love you,"

"I love you too Angel,"

"There's more,"

"What?" she asked

"I'm human," Angel said

"Bu-wh-how?" Buffy asked

"I redeemed myself and the powers-that-be made me human, Buffy I want to be with you and Liam,"

"I want you to be with us too," Buffy laughed, she was so happy.

"Good cause I wasn't planing on leaving," Angel teased and leaned into to kiss Buffy.
