While living overseas, a friend of the artist
asked her to "draw something" ...
Spying a full-page advertisement for a tobacco
company, she grabbed her pastels
and sketched this portrait in about 30 minutes.
The colors were wild with free-flowing lines but those were the days of the 60's ...
free, colorful and definitely high spirited
