Angel just arrived in San Diego from Mexico. He's only been here for 5 days. He came wearing only the clothes on his back. He felt lost, scared and lonely.
He quickly learned he could make money by selling himself to the scores of men who roam the streets looking to pick up on teens.
In fact when we first met Angel, there was a man with him trying to pick up on him.
We quickly intervened and took Angel to Dolares House, a Safe House for runaways.
We also presented Angel with a new Adidas Jacket and Pants, which were donated to California Street Kids by Jim, and Cindy Meyers from Cleveland, Ohio.
