16 June 19 Wow. We fell
asleep for... 14 years? FHS is back, still heavily under construction
with all the dreams in the original archive PLUS a number we never got
to add PLUS newer dreams as well! The original collection on
greydawn.net became inaccessible, even to us. Bits of it remain in
archives and other collections. This is the original site and files
from our backups on a new server. We're very glad to have this
collection back up for students of dream-weaving and history buffs.
Thanks for your patience as we restore old dreams and make them
available. 12 September 05 160 dreams! Our
goal is to cross the 200 mark by the end of the year. Thanks to the many
contest dream winners for their contributions. Society members are currently
working on restoring a map of games that was lost on the server but rescued
by FHS. Watch the archives for an announcement and release soon!
12 November 04 Our 2004 archives have begun to grow, with some contest winning dreams being donated to the greater good. We are also grateful to Zolaerla for contributing a flash animation that was a favorite around Furcadia when it appeared in 2002. It can be viewed here. We are still in need of dreams from 2004. Dreams do not have to be contest winners or entries, any dream which is fun to use or is somehow original is welcomed. 24 April 04 Many in the community
were aware of the passing of Desparla last month, its always sad to see
illness claim someone so young. Besides her volunteerism, she was an avid
dream maker and her Wolf Howl 2003 dream tied for 1st place. The dream,
however, vanished and was apparently lost until we pursued all leads and
found a copy in a wastebin awaiting deletion on a PC. We're pleased to
add Werewolf Fright by Desparla and Prideth to our archives and offer first
downloads to contributing FHS members. The dream will be made available
public later this year,
11 April 04 A month and a
half past opening and we've got 117 dreams archived and average over 100+
download per day. We've had some generous contributions and some very high-quality
works placed in the dream archive. Furres wishing to donate a dream can
simple place it on a website and then advise us it is available for download
and we'll pick it up. Failing that, contact Simon Potter in game and we'll
arrange a transfer of some sort. //
