I Won't Be There

The organ will play, something sad and slow.
And eyes full of tears, down their cheeks will flow.
There will be flowers all around, from friend who care.
But through God above, my soul won't be there.

When God calls me home, and to the grave i will go.
He will comfort my family, and dry their tears that flow.
God won't put more on us, than we are able to bear.
They may bury this body, but my soul won't be there.

No i won't be there, in heaven I'll be.
I will be with my Lord, who gave his life for me.
Our body is a place, that our soul does share.
And when God calls me home, i shall wait for you there.

Death has a way, of letting the sorrow in.

But through Gods love, we will be together again.
Give God your love, and tell him you care.
And as you enter heaven, i will meet you there.
