My Dearest Bernadette,
You came into my life and I looked at your beautiful face and
told you "I
Love You." We started a bond but little did I know how strong this bond
would
become over the next 18 years. You became me, I became you and together we
became one, sharing a love for one other that is more than I could ever dream
of. Your unconditional love taught me to love myself. You made being a Mom
the most gratifying accomplishment I could ever achieve. Nothing could ever
make me prouder than calling you, " My Daughter." Your smile and
laughter
danced on my heart. Your words are imprinted in my mind. You are etched
in my
soul forever.
There are no words worthy to explain the pain in my whole being of
your
death, only you know, as you are my being. There are no words worthy of
expressing my sorrow to you for not protecting you, but you know that too.
You are my life. You will continue to be my life. Time and distance can never
keep us apart. I can only wait for that most glorious day when we will be
reunited and again I can look into your beautiful face and tell you once
again, " I Love You."
Always Was, Always Will Be,
MOM
