Already for the Jr. High dance. Andy was so proud of that suit. He looked and felt so grown-up.

Andy was only 16 years old when he was murdered.
Here one minute and gone the next. My only child dead.
I miss him every minute of everyday. I sometimes catch
myself listening for him to walk though the door,
then I realize he never will again. And the pain starts all over.
He was a good kid. He loved animals and people.
But most of all he loved basketball.
Day or night he talked about or played the game.
He also loved his church and was working on
starting a basket ball league for the kids.
He had talked of becoming a preacher someday.
We know 16 years wasn't long enough.
But I wouldn't trade those 16 years for any amount of money in the world.
I will not say goodbye to my son, but I will say see ya later.
