i spoke to my vet and she said
because it is trailing its leg , in a week it will go gangreen
and will have to be amputated. She seems fine and still playing
with her sister, there is no infenction and she is still very
young. I dont think i could put her to sleep because she isnt
in pain and she is still very lively, so im hoping i dont need
to make the decision you had.I will find out next week. I bought
her a new cage which is more adaptable for her leg.so in the
meantime i am just trying to make her more comftarble.

As you know Pixie broke her leg,
so the other girls wont accept her, only her sister does. Pixie
is now trying to put her leg down, she doesnt seem to be dragging
it as much, still no swelling or infenction, so praying it is
some how
healing itself as i have the vet on Thursday.

One of my dwarf also caught it's
hind legs. Went to the vet and was told to amputate or see if
the wound respond to antibiotics treatment. Could not bear to
amputate the leg, so opt for the latter. The leg stop swelling
in a few days and he seems top have limited usage of the leg.
Still can use it to scratch himself. He looks healthy and active
despite the broken limb.
Unfortunately, he contracted wet
tail a few months later and passed away peacefully by my side.
