Hollywood couple Heath Ledger and Naomi Watts have one person to thank for their new romance - Lord Of The Rings dreamboat Orlando Bloom. Sexy Brit Orlando, who plays Legolas in the J.R.R. Tolkien film trilogy, decided to play Cupid while the trio were filming The Kelly Gang in Australia. Not satisfied with bringing the pair together, the 25-year-old actor then acted as a decoy so they could get to know each other away from the watchful eye of the media. A friend says, "Orlando loved being part of it. He'd arrive at nightclubs with Heath knowing that once inside the VIP room, he'd be dumped for Naomi. He thought it was a hoot." Orlando is pleased to hear that the A Knight's Tale star, 23, has asked the Mulholland Drive beauty, 33, to move into his Hollywood home.

Robbers attack 'Eater' set

ROME -- Armed robbers broke into the production office of 20th Century Fox's "The Sin Eater" in Rome's Cinecitta Studios and stole 90,000 euros ($80,000) from the supernatural thriller's production office, a Cinecitta spokeswoman said Tuesday. Three men wearing dark glasses and baseball caps walked into the Fox production office Monday afternoon while extras were being paid, drew guns and demanded the contents of the office safe after warning, "This is not a movie." They made their escape in a small Fiat parked outside a back entrance. Directed by Brian Helgeland ("A Knight's Tale"), the $35 million feature, about a religious figure who consumes the sins of the dead, has been shooting at Cinecitta and other Italian locations since Jan. 14 and is due to wrap at the end of this month. If you're hoping Heath Ledger will return to his "10 Things I Hate About You" teen roots, don't hold your breath. The celeb is deep into the serious acting scene, especially with his latest turn as the tormented son of an unsympathetic father in "Monster's Ball." Now, the Aussie actor has the starring role in Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone's upcoming epic "Alexander." According to Variety, Ledger will star as the legendary ruler and conqueror Alexander the Great. Production on "Alexander" is set to begin Oct. 16 in India. Ledger Lives on the Edge
Australian actor Heath Ledger has escaped unscathed from a series of dangerous stunts during filming for his latest movie Four Feathers. Ledger, 22, reportedly rankled movie insurers by insisting on completing his own stunts, one of which was described as "life-risking", during filming of the $210 million extravaganza set in Britain and Morocco. The star of The Patriot, Ledger decided he did not need a double to record a scene in which his horse is shot at full gallop and falls as two armies charge at each other. According to reports in London, Ledger "goes down with the horse, then runs across the path of the galloping army, only to mount another galloping horse." "It's very specutacular," said a set insider. "The stunt really does have the desired effect because you think 'Wow, that's really him (Ledger).' And it is. "The insurers were having kittens because if anything had have happened to him, we would have been in deep trouble." Ledger stars opposite Kate Hudson, of Almost Famous, Tim Piggott-Smith, Michael Sheen and Alex Jennings. The move will be released later this year.

Heath is cast as playing Ned Kelly in the upcoming film Our Sunshine. Because it is still in preproduction status, this info could change or be completely dismissed. Our Sunshine  is the story of Ned Kelly, who formed the notorious Kelly gang with his brother Dan and two other men. Making use of homemade steel helmets and chest plates to stop bullets, they committed a series of robberies from 1878-80, when Kelly was captured and hanged in Melbourne. The film will be filmed in Victoria, Australia and directed by Gregor Jordan.

A Knight's Tale was released yesterday on DVD, but you'll have to wait 3 more months for VHS. Stores are a bit late in getting them because it takes longer to put the movie into VHS format. Founders, Nicole and Sara found this out firsthand yesterday when we went looking for it.
