Ella Malka (Manya): Was born in 1910 in Bochnia near Krakow, Poland, and
was the seventh child in the family.

She was an active member of the Hebrew Youth Movement Akiba branch in Bochnia.

In 1935 Malka joined the Zionist Hachsharah settlement in Bonarka, Czachowice
(near the city Bielsko-Biala).

Malka immigrated to Palestine in 1938 and one year later was part of the
first group of pioneers that initiated and established the Kibbutz Beyt Yehoshua.

In April 1940 Malka got married to Joseph Zelinkovsky, a kibbutz member,
and they had three children (one daughter, Solly and two sons Ruben and
Issachar).

During the kibbutz period Malka was working in the nursery and specialized
in the Hadassa hospital in Jerusalem as a pediatric nurse.

In 1947 the kibbutz turned into a village and Malka was working alongside
her husband running the farm and took some other jobs in order to supplement
the family income.

In 1980 Malka and Joseph relocated to the city of Nathanya.

Malka passed away from heart attack in March 1987 at the age of 77.
