Originally built as the major hub for commerce and trade, Calandra now also boasts the keeping of the Royal Seat and has since become the largest city. Since the royal family's move to Calandra it has been more heavily fortified and secured but years of peace and the efficient dispatch of Haykon and Hell's End Station against raids out of the mountains has softened its edge.
