BIO
Bio:I was born August 25, 1967 in Alameda, CA. I have two older brothers, which makes me the runt of the family (literally and figuratively--they're 6'6" and 6'5"). I went to Gladice Wallace Elementary School in Santa Anna, CA until I was eight when my family picked up and moved up north to Nevada City, CA where I attended Seven Hills from 4th through 8th grade. I attended Nevada Union High School where I played football and basketball and generally drifted my way through school. Amazingly enough, I made it into college where I eventually graduated with a BA in history. I am married and have three daughters and one son.I have been an avid reader my whole life (I begged my mother to teach me to read before I started kindergarten but she refused thinking I would be bored in school--I was anyway). I read the Hobbit in fifth grade and have been hooked on fantasy ever since. In my old age I do enjoy history and biographies and probably read more from those genres now than I do fantasy books. I wrote my first novel between 1994 and 2001 (whenever I got a second from work and raising a family) and finished my second in 2005. I currently live in Grass Valley with my family and continue to write every chance I get. |
