Kat Carter pointed silently as she walked behind Shannon Drew.
Shannen was diligently working on getting a new sample tray ready. She was
in the middle of her 9 to 3 shift at Muebel's Groceries. The grocery store
wasn't the best job in the world, but it satisfied the parole board, and
that is what Shannen was most interested in. She had been out of prison
for four months now, and intended on staying out. She was going clean, even
if it meant a lifetime at Muebel's. Faith picked up on Kat's identification of the lovely Ms. Drew. |
| Faith wasted no time and approached the clerk. "So, are you Shannen Drew?", Faith asked, her bad ass attitude detectable even in that short a sentence. Shannen became nervous, she didn't like it when people knew who she was, "Can I interested you in a lowfat Nacho?", she asked. "No. You can interest me in your hacking skills though. Wanna get out of this hell hole" Shannen's heart plummeted. She knew the day would come |

when someone tried to get her back into a life of crime. She
looked away, not wanting to show any interest. "I'm sorry Miss, I'm not sure who you think I am, but I'm only trying to sell Nachos.", she said, praying that would be enough to dissuade the brunette. "Yeah, right. I know exactly who you are. By the time you were 22, you had hacked into the Pentagon, 15 world banks, and the GAP headquarters. By the way, why did you have all the clothes sent to your real address?", Faith said. |
| "Yeah, that was a bad idea. The feds were
happy I did that though.... look, I'm trying to go straight. I don't want
to get caught up in that stuff again. I don't know who you are or how you
found me, but I'm not interested.", Shannon said, her head still turned
away. "Well, can't you at least look me in the eye when you refuse my offer, I mean c'mon... that's just common decency", Faith prodded. At that point, Shannon would have done anything to be left alone, so hoping it would make Faith go away sooner.... |

Shannon made the mistake of turning and looking at Faith.
She was pretty much instantly entranced. It was only a matter of minutes before Faith had the girl under her power. Kat looked on from across the store with Geraldine, another young woman whom Faith had taken earlier today. Geraldine was an explosives expert. Both girls watched in awe and admiration of the brunette hypnotist. It was also exciting because Shannon would complete their team. Well, Shannon and that other Slayer that Faith had mentioned. |
