I walked her out to her car. "Well, tonight will be kind of a bore for you, so I figured you could use a little stress relief." "It worked wonders. The sex was great, and you know how I love it when you put me under before I go to sleep, but you know what the best part was?" | She looked down right shocked. I had started to tremble as I got down
on one knee. "Rebecca, I love you more than I ever thought I could ever love anyone. You have fulfilled my most private fantasies, and exceeded my wildest expectations of what love could be. If you would marry me, I would be the happiest man on earth.", I said. She was still looking at me saying nothing. I didn't plan to do it in the middle of the street, but I was overcome with emotion. I had been planning it for months, and I was always confident she would say yes, but at this moment, I wasn't so sure. She was just staring at me, I was dying for her to speak. I was really trembling by this point, as I stood up to put
the ring on her finger. She was shaking a bit too. It was like the whole
world had just stopped for us. I was so elated. This is the moment I had
been longing for since we first met two years ago. I know our relationship
is not typical, but it is the way we both want it. We are probably happier

I wanted to call home and tell my family right away too. They didn't know
her that well, and they were a little apprehensive of the whole situation,
just because she comes from such a different background than they are used
to. I knew they would find a way to be happy for me though. As Becky looked down at the ring, she mentioned how beautiful it was, and started to cry. I couldn't believe the girl I met in the empty auditorium two years ago was going to be my wife. |
