Please find attached a photograph of ABLE SEAMAN WILLIAM THOMAS SNOW B.E.M My husbands uncle. He was 19 years old and the helmsman of the HMS Li Wo. He died 14/02/1942 and went down with the Li Wo. Gran was told he died instantly. He joined The Royal Navy aged 16 and is the taller lad on the left. Gran had bought him (and his sister and brother) up on her own, after her husband walked out and left her. His medals were stolen when she went into a rest home.
