Before all are gone, and forgotten, here are photos of some of the old MSTS ships I remember...some I've sailed on, others I heard of from those who had sailed on them. It's a collection scanned from the old MSTS SeaLift Magazines, and photos saved, and stashed in envelopes, and binders.
Special thanks to Bill Va. - retired Radio Officer MSC, and Bill Za. - retired Ship's Boatswain MSC, who saved these photos over the years, and have offered them for our enjoyment.
These men are seamen, haven given their lives to the sea. If you want to copy these photos, do so for the enjoyment of yourself, and others...but nary a buck should be made off them. If you need money, ship out like they did...honorably.
