One of our main objectives for this site is to encourage e-democracy.

One of the best ways to achieve that is to act as a portal to make it easier for you to communicate with your Plaid Cymru Council.

These e-mail addresses are contact points for specific services. If you use them and experience an unsatisfactory response please let Adrian know.

1. Fly tipping

Wastebusters is Rhondda Cynon Taff's "hit squad" for fly-tipping. Give them details of what's been dumped and where and they'll do the rest. Response time is usually within 48 hours.

2. Streetlighting

For non-working street lights. The Council has a "night spotter" who travels the County at night to identify non-working lights. Unfortunately, with such a large area to cover, some problems will not be identified for some time. You can help by e-mailing details. It helps to provide a detailed location or, preferably, the lamp standard number which can usually be found on the post.

3. Refuse Collection

If your rubbish is not collected on time or if you have problems with lost or damaged bins use this number.

4. Council Housing Repairs

Use this address to report problems with Council housing.

5. Council Tax

This address is for the Finance Department and should help with problems relating to Council Tax.

6. Sports Fields and Leisure Centres

Contact the Leisure Department here.

"E Mail is an instant way of communicating with the Council.

It also has the advantage of providing an audit trail  to ensure that citizens get an effective service.

In ten years this will probably be the normal way to communicate with your elected representatives and Council officials. Right now we are breaking new ground which makes it especially exciting. "
