About the speakers :

Sri Indraganti Srikantha Sarma is a well known name in Telugu poetry and literary criticism. He is a good scholar in both Sanskrit and Telugu. He worked as Editor of Andhra Prabha Weekly. Before that, as a Program Executive and head of literary section of All India Radio, Vijayawada, he produced many award winning programs. He is a recipient of Free Verse Front award, Telugu University Life Time Achievement award for his poetry. Drawn from his vast reading of traditional and contemporary literature and his close association with humorists like Bapu, Ramana, Jandhyala etc. this talk will touch upon various aspects of humor in Telugu literature.

Smt Indraganti Janakibala is a well known novel and short story writer. She published seven novels and five short story collections so far. By herself a good singer, she is an authority on film and light music. In this talk, she will deal with several musical and literary aspects of film and light music songs with examples.
