This is my ... well I`m not sure what number show this is, but it was certainly fun and interesting. When we got there I ran into one of my friends, Alexis, who also works at the Sanderson. We found our seats quite easily (of course, working there does help too - and Alexis was able to help other people who were unfamiliar with the layout). I got a new shirt that has the words "Blue Rodeo" with the covers of their albums as fills for the letters.
The show was really fun and the horns sounded great as always. It was a real treat to see Jim play the grand piano, especially since I`ve been learning After The Rain myself on the keyboard. Right before he started playing, he asked the crowd if anyone went or had gone to PJ (Pauline Johnson - high school). Well that`s mine and Matt`s school, so that was cool. Jim said his mom taught there as an English teacher. That was really cool to find out. Another highlight was during the HHMY sing-along, when Greg came right up to the front of the stage, and was directly in front of / above me.
The encore took awhile before they can back out, but once they did, they asked us to stay standing for the next song because we had been sitting all show. I never did sit down during the rest of the encore. Everyone was up dancing and singing (for those who knew the words) to a bouncing cover of Railroad. Unfortunately after the show we didn`t get to stay for the meet&greet due to school the next day, but it was a fun show anyways.
