My aunt gave my dad and I tix to the Caverners, a tribute band to the Beatles. And they did a really good job.
But let`s back up shall we, to before the show. As we were finding our seats ("really hard" when you volunteer there) I ran into a few people I know - Melanie was greeting people at the door (and making sure no food or drinks got in), and Alexis was ushering. I also ran into Norma during intermission. It`s really neat running into people you know. (And it was nice going to the Sanderson and not having to dress up.)
The show started promptly at 8pm, and for the first hour they played all the hits. ('Help', 'Hard Day`s Night', 'Daytripper', 'Michelle', etc.) After the intermission they played songs from 'St.Pepper' and 'Abbey Road'. The show ended with 'Hey Jude'.
The show was really good and the band did a great job. They had their quirks down pat. It`s amazing how they looked like the guys, sounded like them, and played all the instruments wonderfully. If you closed your eyes you could feel like you were actually listening to the Beatles themselves. The only slight problem was that 'Paul' wasn`t a lefty, but that didn`t really matter.
