*Billie Joe is actually his real name, not William Joseph as many people think

*Billie Joe was born on February 17, 1972. Billie's the youngest of 6 kids

*Used to sell joints to kids in school for $2.00. He earned the nickname Two-Dollar Bill

*His father was a truck driver and jazz drummer who died of lung cancer when Billie was 10. His mother was a waitress at Rod's Hickory Pit

*The first song Billie ever wrote was "Why Do You Want Him?" when he was 12 years old (which you can find on the 1,039 CD)

*At age 5, Billie would sing at hospitals to cheer up patients

*Billie's side band is called Pinhead Gunpowder

*Billie recorded "Looking for Love" at age five

*In July 1994, Billie married his girlfriend Adrienne Nesser. The ceremony only lasted 5 minutes and both he and Adrienne drank beer before hand to calm their nerves.

*The day after the wedding Adrienne discovered she was pregnant with Billie's baby. Nine months later, in March of 1995, Joseph Marcicano Armstrong was born. The couple has had another child, Jakob Danger Armstrong.

*Billie is co-owner of the record label Adeline Records. Adeline is home to the Criminals, One Man Army, AFI, and Pinhead Gunpowder

*Billie met Mike in the school cafeteria and they started talking about music
