Lucky Dilemma

By: Bekkie R.

There's a boy named Lucky who sits on
the street
Heart in his hands, pride at his
feet
He sees his life disappearing from his cobblestone
seat
His world's ina blunder & his
confidence beat
He's got no money, no shelter, no
fortune or fame
He's given up hope as he sinks in
his shame
He gave up on life cause he can't
play the game
Showing no interest or effort, his loved ones
are blamed
When he needed help most, no one was
there
He was crying & screaming, but not a
soul seemed to care
He's lost everything in life, & nothing can
he bare
So Lucky sits alone in a world that's
unfair
