Past mistakes haunt me now
Nothing changes day to day
Life scares me more than anything
They never go away
I try to hide as much as I can
But they just want to stay
My patience is wearing thin
My past comes out to scare me
Despite the candy-coated grin
Because won't today me tomorrow's past?
Then I'll have more problems to deal with
Can't wait for the end at last
