Homemade Stickers:
1 Tbs.
Jell-O (Any Flavor) 2 Tbs. BOILING water Mix water and
Jell-O until dissolved.
Paint to back of pre-cut shapes of paper. When dry,
children can lick and stick, and they even taste good.
Rainbow Crayons
Materials
OLD non-stick muffin pans
Old crayons
Procedure
Preheat your oven to 250
1. Peel the paper off the crayons
2. Put 5-10 different colors in each muffin space
3. Place the muffin tins in the oven until the crayons
melt
4. Let the new crayons cool overnight
5. Remove the crayons the next day
Bubbles
6 cups water
3/4 cup corn syrup
2 cups dishwashing liquid
Mix together and let sit 4 hours before using.
Paper Mache Paste
1 cup water
1/4 cup flour
5 cups lightly boiling water
Mix flour into the water until mixture is thin and runny,
stir into boiling water. Gently boil and stir for 3
minutes. Cool before using.
Sidewalk Chalk
2 cups water
2 cups plaster of Paris
2 tablespoons wet or dry tempera paint
toilet paper tubes
duct tape
Use duct tape to cover one end of each toilet paper tube.
Mix all ingredients and set aside for 5 minutes. Line a
cookie sheet with wax paper or foil. Place tubes upright
on paper with open end facing up. You might want to tape
the tubes upright onto the wax paper or foil to make it
more steady. Pour mixture into holders. Leave standing
until chalk mixture is almost firm. Tear off the toilet
paper tubes and let the sidewalk chalk dry for about 2
more hours.
